SsangYong,Mahindra & Mahindraowned
Korean carmaker, has revealed the official sketches of its upcoming
compact SUV - the Tivoli. Scheduled to be launched in January 2015 in
Korea and globally during the second quarter of 2015, the car is
expected to come to India as well around the same time.
Based on SsangYong's new design language, the car certainly looks lot more stylish than other SsangYong SUVs. However, the production-variant will look slightly different from this. The compact SUV takes its design cues from SsangYong XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure concepts that were showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Whereas the front-fascia of the car looks quite dynamic and sporty, the rear profile looks very plain with conventional extended wrap-around tail-lamps. The cabin also looks very modern and futuristic.
"'Tivoli' is a name of an Italian city located adjacent to Rome.It has been long beloved by Italian people as a resort town which is well known for its cultural heritage with palaces such as Villa d'Este and its scenic beauty.", said the company in a statement.
