Lamborghini Smartphone Now Available Globally

For the consumer who wants a smartphone to make an impression, the Lamborghini nameplate can do that for a cool $6,000 (roughly Rs. 3.7 lakhs), shipping included.
Tonino Lamborghini Mobile on Monday announced the global launch of the stainless steel-and-leather handset ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
Despite an uncertain economy and declining prices for mobile devices, the Italian-based company says it may be unable to meet demand.
"Luxury is not a need, but it is a way to stand out," said Bob Hatefi, chief executive at Lamborghini Mobile, a company formed by the son of famed auto designer Ferruccio Lamborghini.
"We provide technology as well as luxury. We are not after volume."

The company is not related to Lamborghini automobiles, which are now produced by a division of Volkswagen, but was created by Tonino Lamborghini, the son of the famed auto designer Ferruccio Lamborghini.

The 88 Tauri handset is offered in black, gold and steel silver and is finished with high-grade leather available in five colors. Each phone is assembled by hand and receives a unique device number.
The company also makes headphones and other audio products, and an earlier smartphone selling for around $4,000 (roughly Rs. 2.5 lakhs).

The Crew :: Coolest graphics in the game

It's been a year of slim pickings for racing fans. Barring Forza Horizon 2 and GRID Autosport, there has been very little to choose from for fans of the genre in this country, particularly because you can't get Driveclub outside of the grey market just yet. We haven't seen a new game in the Need For Speed series either, with Electronic Arts deciding against a release this year. With this in mind, The Crew becomes one of the very few multiplatform racing games available at the moment. Ubisoft's open world game wears its influences on its sleeves, bringing together every cliche from Need For Speed Underground series and Fast and The Furious.

You have not-so-legal street racing gangs, an FBI investigation, and a slew of cars to choose from. It might not be the most original of settings but it serves as a ready scaffolding against which you can explore what the game has to offer.

iPhone Likely Next Year, Targeted at 'Female Users

Recent reports indicated that Apple might discontinue the production of the iPhone 5c next year.If the reports come out to be true, then the discontinuation of the iPhone 5c will leave the iPhone 5s as the only handset from Apple to feature a 4-inch display.
Now, rumours from Apple's supply chain in China suggest that the Cupertino-based giant plans to launch a new 4-inch model, which can be expected to launch only in the second half of the year.

Gforgames citing a Chinese publication suggests that Apple's rumoured 4-inch model will be majorly focusing on one hand operations and will also target "female users." Downgrading to iOS 8.1 no longer possible

Nearly a couple of weeks after releasing iOS 8.1.1, which brought along several bug fixes as well as increased stability and performance improvements for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, Apple has stopped signing iOS 8.1. This means that you’ll no longer be able to downgrade or restore to the previous firmware version.

The change in the signing status of iOS 8.1 can be confirmed on the popular third-party iOS firmware database IPSW Downloads -- the iOS 8.1 page on the website now shows red ‘!’ icons instead of green check mark icons.
If you prefer jailbroken devices, you’ll be pleased to know that iOS 8.1.1, which is compatible with the iPhone 4S and newer, iPad 2 and newer, and the fifth-generation iPod touch, is jailbreakable as well.

OnePlus One Review: The New Mid-Range Smartphone

Specifications and software
Most of the OnePlus One's appeal lies in its hardware, and it isn't hard to see why. You'll have a very hard time finding anything else that delivers the same amount of power at this price level. It all begins with a top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, which has four CPU cores running at 2.5GHz and an Adreno 330 GPU. That's matched with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space (a 16GB model is available in other markets but not in India at launch time).
The 5.5-inch 1080x1920-pixel display has its touch sensitive layer fused to display panel, which OnePlus claims makes the screen far stronger than the common OGS (one-glass solution) method of production.
There's Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.0 along with NFC and GPS. There are also three microphones for noise reduction. Sadly, there's no microSD slot. The 3,100mAh battery is also sealed in.

Android 5.0 Lollipop Bug-king

Another day and another Android 5.0 Lollipop bug. This time multiple users running the latest Android build on the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 handsets are reporting a bug that is preventing them from sending SMS messages.
Notably, Google has now confirmed to a Dutch site  that the SMS bug is also affecting the new Nexus 6 while a user has claimed that the new Moto X is also having problems with sending texts. The bug however is only reported to be affecting users on select carriers - Vodafone Netherlands, Vodafone India, and Mobistar (Belgium).
One of the users describes the issue, saying, "When trying to send an SMS it fails. Using the new messenger app I get an error code 38."
A user from India using Vodafone writes, "Same issue here on Vodafone India. Not able to send SMS to any number."

Reporting the bug on the Android Issue Tracker titled "Cannot send SMS Vodafone NL", Android 5.0 Lollipop users are claiming that the messages sent from an affected device never reach the recipient; though devices that are said to be affected by the bug can still receive messages.
While acknowledging the SMS bug, Google responded to Tweakers and said (Google Translate), "We have discovered a software bug in Android 5.0 Lollipop which ensures that Vodafone customers cannot send text messages in the Netherlands. This bug affects the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, but the Nexus 6 as well."

Prior to this, we'd heard about a Wi-Fi bug that was reported to be affecting some users, and then multiple reports claimed that Android 5.0 Lollipop also removed the very useful 'silent mode' from phones. Some Nexus 7 (2013) tablet users on Monday were reporting issues in playing any video on the device after updating to the latest version of Android.

Eight Siri Features That Android Doesn't Have

Any Apple user can tell you that Siri has a great personality, is unfailingly polite and can execute a bunch of actions on your iOS device - just be sure to ask politely. You can ask Siri to make phone calls, read out your email and even have conversations about its favourite films.
