BMW India that recently launched the new M5, today rolled out the new M3 sedan and M4 Coupe in India. The M3 and M4 Coupe are priced at Rs. 1.19 crore (ex-showroom) and Rs. 1.21 crore (ex-showroom), respectively.
Both
the vehicles are powered by a new 3.0-litre, six-cylinder,
twin-turbocharged petrol engine that produces a power of 431bhp at
5500-7300rpm with a maximum torque of 550Nm between 1850-5500rpm. This
gasoline powertrain accelerates 0-100kmh in 5 seconds, while maintaining
an electronic speed limit of 250kmph. A six-speed manual gearbox and a
seven-speed automatic transmission are on offer.
Based on the M3 Coupe platform, the new M4 comes equipped with 18-inches alloy wheels, while the 19-inches alloys are optional. The coupe also gets a carbon fiber roof and a 60:40 split rear seats. Both the cars will be brought via CBU (Complete Built Units) route in India.
